mondays - resilience in kids

Each term, Resilience in Kids focuses on a theme. In Term 1 2019 the workshops will be helping children make good friendship choices and navigate the playground - such an important topic to explore as children settle into new schools and classes. Resilience in Kids workshops will be play-based and fun and will include drama, art, storytelling, movement and breathing. Whilst their games and activities will be framed by the context of friendship they will continue to provide in the moment 'live' resilience coaching to address the unique resilience challenges that each group brings. This is what makes the program so powerful, the fact they are able to effectively blend the delivery of set content with 'in the moment' coaching.

fridays - Cooking with Rachel Eagleton

Teaching children the basics of cooking is a great way to broaden their knowledge of nutritious food and nutrition in a practical way.  Eating patterns that begin in childhood affect health and well-being throughout life, so early education is an important step in starting children with a positive relationship with food, and this begins with cooking classes in primary school. In partnership with Rachel, Whoosh Club will be hosting fun and interactive classes every Friday!
